“Storytelling is my passion. I have spent the past ten years perfecting the craft and style to deliver some of the most evocative, engaging, addictive pieces for my audience, complete with the raw and intentional implication that these are stories that breath life in a way that only art can ethically imitate.
I think the relationship between a storyteller and their reader is an intimate one, one built on trust, passion and consistency. Often I hear commercial authors, very good ones, teach about how there is a system to what they publish, as though writing were a formula to follow in creating the perfect escape for the mind. I haven’t found that in my experience, I have found many problems to solve, and an infinite number of ways to solve them within the rules of a world at my fingertips. Each time I find this world I find myself as lost in each metamorphosis as deeply as I would like my reader to become lost, there isn’t a formula to falling in love, there shouldn’t be in writing.
Writing gives me pleasure. I aim to fall in love every time with each story, in each life there should be a moment when the reader finds themselves in the shoes of the character, taking each step with them and walking in a completely different world, knowing, feeling and problem solving along with them. If I can do that, If I can take your hand and gain your trust to allow me to take you on an adventure then I have done my job successfully.”
