More than 500 million corporate department stores were hit simultaneously Christmas morning with a delicately wrapped manilla folder containing class action law suit papers claiming cultural appropriation of the small state of the North Pole, delivered personally by the big man himself, Santa.

The fine print details the adornment of false snow, false reindeer, elven gear and clothing, and the theatrical display of Santa receiving Christmas requests is a blatant act of culturally appropriating the minority class of elves and the upper Nordic region of Earth.

Each corporate entity has been delivered a cease and desist or civil liability suits will be incurred.

A combined ten thousand signatures from the affected North Pole residents and Santa’s workshop staff accompanied the documents with complaints ranging from misrepresentation to gross solicitation from false entities.

“We as a United front will stand up against capitalist tyranny of time honored and sacred traditions. Your price hiking, spirit mongering and blatant disregard for the core beliefs of joy, love and hope, will not be tolerated.”
