Matt Gaetz Kicks McCarthy Out of His Super Secret Club

For those of you who didn’t know that there are super secret clubs in the government that are super selective and super strict, there obviously is and you would be surprised as to how many people are in those clubs, what those clubs require and how important it is to make sure your views and loyalties are the polar opposite of the other super secret club.

Like a Martin Scorsese film the house was sent into turmoil as two elite groups consisting of 426 members voted to vacate a poorly disguised club member double agent. Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy was a part of an historical event October 3rd 2023 as The House of Representatives made a majority vote to remove him from one of those super secret clubs, his seat, the House Speaker.

McCarthy says, “You know it was personal, it had nothing to do with spending.”

Later Gaetz gives a statement to CBS news saying, “I informed the Speaker needed to come into compliance with the agreement that he had made in January or he would face a motion to vacate.” When asked about the deals Gaetz had made with his fellow representatives from the Democratic party (other super secret club) on the removal of McCarthy, Gaetz says, “The yellow brick road of working with Democrats was actually designed, constructed, and paved by Kevin McCarthy.” Meaning that McCarthy’s alliance to Gaetz’s super selective, secret club had been tainted by his dealings with the other side.

Niall Stanage of ‘The Hill‘ quoted Gaetz, saying, “If Kevin McCarthy puts a continuing resolution on the floor it’s going to be shot, chaser. Continuing resolution, motion to vacate…” A strategic move having been laid out in the initial terms of McCarthy’s reign as House Speaker, it would take only one member call to initiate a vacancy majority vote.

What led to McCarthy’s ouster was his compromising with the Democrat Representatives to pass a stopgap that would halt the Republican’s attempt to pressure the majority into more spending cuts if a government shutdown did take place. A government shut down would halt non-essential government workers, putting them on a furlough until a spending bill was passed. Millions of federal employees would experience a delay in receiving paychecks. A move like this to pressure the Democratic party by holding Federal workers hostage is essentially extortion.

The agreement McCarthy had made in January, as explained by LA Times: McCarthy agreed to place extremist far right members of the Republican party in strategic committee seats, easily block spending increases with new amendments, bills or conference reports that affected federal programs such as Medicaid or Social Security. These, along with term limits for representative seats, were the agreements McCarthy made to secure his seat as House Speaker. All of which, with Biden as President, almost guaranteed a government shut down. Gaetz’s super secret club had intentionally created a grid lock scenario if the majority party did not get their way.

McCarthy, after being accused of being a traitor in the eyes of Gaetz’s super secret club, says this about Gaetz and the seven Republican club members who rallied to remove him from the seat of House Speaker, “They don’t get to say they’re conservative because they’re angry and they’re chaotic,” He added, “They are not conservatives and they do not have the right to have the title.”

McCarthy has made it clear to his fellow representatives and the media that he will not be seeking membership of Gaetz’s super secret club again.

What is The House of Representatives? And Why Does it Matter?

For those of you who don’t know what the house does or who the house speaker is, The House of Representatives is one of two chambers of our government’s Congress, the other is The Senate. The House of Representatives makes and passes federal law. The house representatives are the people who introduce new bills, amendments, and solutions for the American people. The house speaker is second in line to the President and Vice President of the United States. The house speaker controls the order of all institutional business on the floor, decides who goes into which seat and who speaks in turn at a conference.
